Creative Europe – MEDIA has launched a new call for proposals to support the transnational distribution of European and non-European films. Find here all the details of the announcement.
The call aims to support film and theatres distribution companies based in the countries of the Creative Europe MEDIA sub-programme. Said distribution companies must also be owned – directly or by majority holding – by citizens from one of the sub-programme countries, namely: Iceland, Norway, Albania, Montenegro, Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia.
The call for proposals has a budget of €9,750,000 will be assigned according to the number of screens reached on the first week of release, between €2,200 to €150,000.
