The CPH:DOX awards with the Special Mention Inland. The film was presented at MIA Market 2018.
Inland (Meseta) by the Spanish director Juan Palacios received the Special Mention from the Jury for the NEXT:WAVE AWARD at the 16th edition of the international documentary film Festival CPH:DOX. During the Kermesse, which took place in Copenaghen from 20 to 31 March 2019, the film had its world première. The award has been assigned by the jury which consisted of Sudanese director Marwa Zein, Italian curator Nico Marzano and the Danish sound designer Peter Albrechtsen. In the motivation the CPH:DOX jury stated that “the film feels like a prayer in the form of a film“.
Inland was presented at the C EU Soon Session of MIA Market 2018. The film has been produced by Doxa Producciones and Jabuba Films with the contribution of Salamanca Film Commission.
