The press conference to introduce Da Xi’an a Roma: due città un solo mondo took place on July 18 2019 at the Piccolo Eliseo di Roma theatre. There, Francesco Rutelli, President of ANICA and Coordinator of the Forum Culturale Italia-Cina said: “I am firmly convinced of the importance of the collaboration between Italy and China; they are nations with very diverse dimensions, but from a cultural point of view they have a lot in common and much to share.”
“The Chinese people do not only love the history of Rome, but also its contemporaneity: they love the Italian traditions, but also its design, fashion, food, cinema and audiovisuals. Our strength, using this instrument, is to build dialogue and a sustainable tourism. Millions of travelers will depart and to manage this new tourism we will need experience and sustainability”, Francesco Rutelli added.
