General Directorate of Cinema and Audiovisual opens the first session of tax credit for video games.
Starting from today, Wednesday December 15, video game producers of Italian nationality can apply for access to the tax credit amounting to € 5,000,000 for this first session. Requests can be submitted through the DGCOL platform and must be sent by 23:59 of January 31, 2022.
In order to submit the application it is necessary, in addition to registering on the DGCOL platform, to register the personal data of the applicant and the work identifying it as “Work with video game content” and finally to request the Italian nationality for the video game work.
