From June 4 to 11, Havana and the city of Camaguey will host the first edition of ‘ORIZZONTI Italia-Cuba‘, a place for dialogue and development between Cuban and Italian film productions.
The event, promoted by Teatri della Resistenza, with the support of DG Cinema and Audiovisual of Italian Ministry of Culture and Instituto Cubano del Arte e Industria Cinematográficos (ICAIC), is aimed to promote the cinematographic and audiovisual industry between Italy and Latin America.
The program is marked by thematic days focused on co-production and internationalization, innovation and the future of audiovisuals, as well as training, the importance of protection and preservation of cultural heritage. In fact, on the occasion of the 120th anniversary of Cesare Zavattini‘s birth, Orizzonti Italia-Cuba will pay tribute to the writer and screenwriter and, thanks to the collaboration with the Roma Lazio Film Commission, to the Lazio region, which will be the protagonist of the Festival through a targeted promotional activity of the territory.
