This year’s edition of the Kyiv Media Week, changes format, becomes itinerant and also passes by MIA. Now in its 11th edition, KMW International Media Forum has carved out a prominent role as an audiovisual market within the industry, building a solid bridge between CEE, CIS and other parts of the world.

 

A series of special sessions will take place in cooperation with leading European audiovisual festivals and markets. In particular, six KMW sessions within three different events: The international web and TV series festival Serial Killer ( 20-25 September, Brno, Czech Republic), the international audiovisual market MIA (11-15 October, Rome, Italy) and the 38th international co-production and entertainment content market MIPCOM (17-20 October, Cannes, France).

 

Round tables, screenings with top executives from leading Ukrainian media companies and their foreign partners are designed to present the strengths of the Ukrainian TV and film market, its viability and readiness to build sustainable international partnerships. The focus of this year’s edition will be on the recovery of the Ukrainian industry after the conflict.
