Alexia Laroche-Joubert, former CEO of Adventure Line Productions (ALP), will fill the vacant position as CEO of Banijay France starting in September.
She was described as brilliant and creative by Marco Bassetti, CEO of Banijay Italy, who added how “Alexia has been a leading force for us in France for a number of years and, with entrepreneurialism and creative spirit at her core, she is the perfect profile to lead our French operations from here-on-in”
For the new executive, the move to lead Banijay France is the “logical next step,” and about her career path she says, “From start-ups, to well-established labels like ALP, I have led a career underpinned by entrepreneurialism and at Banijay, I’ve found a home where I can continue to indulge my creative passions.”
Laroche-Joubert began her career as a producer on M6’s “Loft Story,” “Star Academy” and TF1’s “Secret Story.” She also served as a juror on France’s “Popstars” program. Before Banijay, she spent more than 10 years at Canal+ Group and became editor-in-chief of TF1.
