An agreement was reached at the Anica table between the unions and employers on the contract for voice actors, which provides for wage increases in the range of 15-18 percent, within an overall increase of 30 percent.
“The parties have come to the signing of an understanding that identified the lines to which they will adhere when drafting the new National Collective Agreement for voice actors awaiting renewal since 2008,” according to the parties’ joint communiqué. The final text is expected by the end of September.
In response to the debate igniting Hollywood, where a strike is under way, measures to put stakes on the use of artificial intelligence will also be included on the contract, and a contract and industry observatory will be established to be able to quickly grasp and absorb changes in a rapidly evolving market.
