Last year the Italian region of Lazio sustained the realization of 344 cinema and audiovisual projects thanks to the 9 million euro financing granted by the Lazio Regional Fund for the Audio-visual.
The projects developed are very varied, from movies to fiction, documentaries, shorts movies, web series, and pieces by young talents. These projects aim at experimenting and promoting cross-media and cutting-edge content. All these initiatives are recognized as cultural works and have been developed partially or entirely in the Lazio region.
Among the projects granted by Lazio Regional Fund that have been carried out thanks to this fund, there are 11 films that were nominated for the 62nd edition of the David di Donatello Awards: Love and Bullets, Nico, 1988, Ugly Nasty People, Pure Hearts, Easy, Children of the Night, Sicilian Ghost Story, Rainbow: A Private Affair, Lucky, Evviva Giuseppe and Pazzo e Bella.
