Nicole Morganti, Head of Amazon Originals – scripted and unscripted – for Italy, will continue to lead Amazon Studios, extending her role to the Southern European region, spanning Italy, France, and Spain.
Morganti had joined the Amazon Studios team in February 2019, first as head of Unscripted Originals for Italy, then as head of Amazon Originals for Italy in April 2020. His leadership is marked by a multidisciplinary style that ranges from scripted content, such as the young adult series Prisma and the dark comedy The Bad Guy, to unscripted content such as the docu-reality, The Ferragnez, or Dinner Club, the format that combines travel and cooking, but there are also the Italian versions of Celebrity Hunted and the comedy show LOL, among other programs.
With about 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry, the head of Amazon Studios Italia was first executive producer for MTV Italia and then moved to Sky Italia, where she worked for six years, launching channels dedicated to entertainment and premium content and commissioning shows such as X Factor, Italia’s Next Top Model and Masterchef.
