The second edition of the Audio-Visual Producers Summit, which will put the Italian and international audiovisual industry under the magnifying glass to define the most significant market trends and evaluate strategies suitable for a global audience, was inaugurated today in the Miramare Castle in Trieste.
“This meeting was born to create not only commercial exchanges, which are directly useful for the realisation of a product, but to exchange knowledge in the meantime,” said Chiara Sbarigia, President of Cinecittà, during the press conference together with Lucia Borgonzoni, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, Roberto Stabile, Head of Special Projects of the DGCA of the MiC at Cinecittà and Massimiliano Fedriga, President of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region.
Around the same discussion table, top players from all over the world will be invited, including national operators, institutions and protagonists of the global audiovisual scene, as well as producers, creatives and directors, guests of top-level panels focused on some topical issues for the audiovisual sector. Leading protagonists and talent from the Italian audiovisual world will, in addition, be present at the prestigious MAXIMO Awards ceremony.
The summit, the direction of which is once again entrusted this year to Roberto Stabile, Head of Special Projects of the MiC’s DGCA at Cinecittà, is produced by Cinecittà for the Ministry of Culture’s General Directorate for Cinema and Audiovisual in association with APA, with the support of the MiC, MAECI|Ice, Friuli-Venezia Giulia Region with the support of Promo Turismo FVG and FVG Film Commission.
In addition, the event will see the participation of MPA (Motion Picture Association), PGA (Producers Guild of America)-which will facilitate the participation of numerous North American industry personalities-CNC and Unifrance.
