Another first place for Christopher Nolan’s latest film, Oppenheimer, which does not hint at leaving the top of the chart for the third week in a row, earning €4,604,346.
In second place is The Nun 2, the latest installment in James Wan’s highly successful The Conjuring franchise, distributed by Universal, and sequel to The Nun (2018) which achieves an excellent result in its week of release with an impressive gross of 3,053,426 euros. It gains another position in the ranking, The Equalizer – Senza Tregua with a profit of 626,294 euros.
Fourth place for the film Jeanne Du Barry – The King’s Favorite, starring Johnny Depp as Louis XV, with 541,544 euros in takings; followed by the subversive “all-pink” blockbuster Barbie, which, after more than a month of its release in theaters, remains in fifth place with 479,075 euros. Tartarughe Ninja: Mutant Chaos, on the other hand, falls to sixth place, with a total take of 476,846 euros.
An excellent debut for Io Capitano, the latest film by Matteo Garrone, winner of the Silver Lion for Best Director at the Venice Film Festival, and which ranks seventh in the chart with 374,757 euros in box office just a few days after its release; next with 372,157 euros comes Haunted Mansion with Rosario Dawson and Owen Wilson.
Closing out the weekly ranking is the drama film starring Edoardo Leo, The Order of Time with a gross of 179,155 euros and Il più bel secolo della mia vita with 142,054 euros.
