Last week brought a flurry of successes and confirmations in the Italian box office, accomplice also to the June 2 bridge. The great success of The Little Mermaid makes it still first in the charts with a weekly box office of € 4,208,403.
In second place, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, the animated film released on June 2 earned € 2,420,941. The bronze medal goes to the tenth film in the Fast & Furious saga, Fast X, down one position from last week, which grossed € 1,395,767.
In fourth position, one less than seven days ago, is Rapito, Marco Bellocchio’s new film about the Edgardo Mortara case, which takes home a weekly gross of € 605,078. The Boogeyman, the horror film based on a Stephen King short story, took fifth place with earnings of € 388,147.
In sixth was Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which continued its descent after weeks at the top of the chart, with a gross of € 342,738. The event film Suga – Agust D Tour D-Day in Japan: Live earned € 102,001, ranking seventh on the chart.
In eighth place was the return to the big screen of the film Alien, which grossed € 72,860. The Super Mario Bros. Movie ranked ninth with weekly earnings of € 72,570. Closing out the ranking, finally, was the tenth place of Il Sol dell’avvenire, the latest film by Nanni Moretti, which earned € 69,731.
