The Calabria Film Commission has opened the Avviso Pubblico per il sostegno alle produzioni audiovisive in Calabria 2023 already presented during the ninth edition of the MIA | International Audiovisual Market.
The public notice is aimed at audiovisual companies for the production of films or feature films with a minimum duration of 75 minutes, including animated films, television dramas with a minimum duration of 52 minutes and short films with a duration between 15 and 30 minutes. Foundations and cultural associations can also apply for the production of short films.
The aim of the notice is the promotion and enhancement of the Calabrian territory, both from an artistic and a naturalistic point of view.
The notice’s budget amounts to €4,850,000, divided as follows:
- Category A: €2,000,000 for films/films and television dramas;
- Category B: €2,700,000 for films/movies and TV dramas and €150,000 for short films.
