Roberto De Paolis’ “Pure Hearts” is one of the selected films of the Director’s Fortnight section of the Cannes Film Festival. The feature is produced by Young Films and Rai Cinema, with the support of MiBACT and distributed by The Match Factory. It was showcased as project at NCN (New Cinema Network) 2013.
Written by Luca Infascelli, Carlo Salsa, Greta Scicchitano and Roberto De Paolis himself, the movie is about Stefano and Agnese, 18 and 25 years old respectively, who belong to two opposite worlds: Agnese is very religious and is about to take a vow of chastity, while Stefano has a troubled past and works as parking lot attendant of a mall bordering on a Roma camp. A love story will start unexpectedly from their meeting and it will lead them to question everything they believe in. Selene Caramazza, Simone Liberati, Barbora Bobulova, Stefano Fresi, Edoardo Pesce, Antonella Attili, Federico Pacifici, Isabella delle Monache are the cast members.
