The Direzione generale Cinema e audiovisivo announced the “Call for Selective Contributions for Cinematic Works under International Minority Co-production or Co-partnership – Year 2023” through which it grants contributions of up to €300,000 to Italian production companies participating with fiction, animation or documentary films longer than 52 minutes and intended for theatrical distribution.
Eligible works must be of Italian nationality and 80 percent of the granted contribution must be spent on Italian territory.
The call has a budget of 6 million euros, divided into two evaluation sessions of 3 million euros each
- first session: from July 21 to Sept. 22
- second session: from Oct. 30 to Nov. 24
