Taking place from 15 June to 6 August 2023 at the Cavallerizza Reale in Turin, Effetto Notte, the National Cinema Museum’s summer arena.
400 seats for an open-air cinema that will accompany the Turin summer with a packed and exciting programme. The programme includes great cinema classics, so as not to interrupt the trend started during the winter by Cinema Massimo’s Cinema Tre, the Museum’s multiplex, which will temporarily close its doors during the summer months.
The Effetto Notte Arena has been realised with the patronage of the City of Turin, the support of Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo and the contribution of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti. Media partner torinosette, technical partners University of Turin and Paratissima, food partner Nonna Cleme.
“Cinema is emotion, films and the big screen give the opportunity to immerse oneself and live one, a hundred, a thousand lives and a thousand stories, thanks to the classics from the history of cinema usually presented in Cinema Massimo’s Screen Three,” emphasised Domenico De Gaetano, director of the National Cinema Museum.
The programme counts iconic titles such as The Big Lebowski, Raging Bull, Fitzcarraldo, The Seventh Seal, Thelma & Louise, Hiroshima mon amour, including the film that gave the festival its title, François Truffaut’s Night Effect.
