Regione Emilia-Romagna opened the Call for Selection for the support to the production of cinematographic and audiovisual works, made by national, European and non-European companies.
The budget is 1.25 million euros, of which 700,000 are earmarked for the first round and 550,000 for the second.
National, European and international companies working as film and audiovisual producers are eligible to apply.
The call for proposals is divided into two sections:
- Section A: feature-length cinema or TV films of a minimum duration of 52 minutes and TV series of a minimum duration of 90 minutes with a production cost of no less than 4 million euro and an expenditure on the territory of no less than 1 million euro. Such projects must also have a setting and relevance with Emilia-Romagna.
The maximum grant awarded for each project is 250,000; - Section B: feature films or TV films lasting no less than 52 minutes, TV series of a minimum duration of 90 minutes, web works
and documentaries with eligible expenditure of no less than €30,000.
For feature films and TV series in this section, the contribution may not exceed €150,000, falling to €25,000 for web works and €50,000 for documentaries.
The deadline for submitting applications for this first session is 28th February 2023; the second session will open on 1st July 2023.
