The winners of the 71st edition of the Emmy Awards – the most important award recognizing excellence in the television industry – have been announced. The award ceremony took place Sunday night in Los Angeles. The final season of Game of Thrones harvested 12 statuettes, including the one for the best drama series and the best supporting actor, won by Peter Dinklage. Chernobyl also had amazing results and was chosen as the best limited series, while Fleabag obtained the title of best comedy series. Fleabag, a co-production by Amazon Studios and BBC, took home four Emmy Awards, three of which earned by Phoebe Waller-Bridge, creator, writer and the main protagonist of the series.
