The Board of Management of the Eurimages Fund confirmed for 2018 a 590.000 euros budget for its ten Co-Production Development Prizes, awarded in several co-production market sas MIA Market in Rome. Other markets and festivals are Rotterdam, Berlin, Copenaghen (documentaries), Bordeaux (animation), Cluj, Sarajevo, San Sebastian, Amsterdam and Tallin. Also confirmed the four Eurimages Lab Projects Awards, which will be presented during festivals of Karlovy Vary, Haugesund, Thessaloniki and Les Arcs.
Board also announced the support to 20 projects, 17 fictions, two documentaries and one animated project, for a total amount of 3.786.026 euros. In the roaster of the selected projects there’s also the new documentary by Giuseppe Tornatore, Maestro Morricone: The Glance of Music, that received a support of 240.000 euros.
