The thirteenth edition of the Figari International Short Film Fest 2023 will be held in Golfo Aranci from June 26 to July 1. Matteo Pianezzi, artistic director, Francesca Vargiu and Mauro Addis, organizers of the event outlined this year’s program, which will feature more than forty competing titles, selected from more than 1,500 entries from around the world, and divided into five main sections: national, international, animation, regional, and red shoe.
This year’s edition will make use of a jury composed of leading figures from the Italian and foreign film scene. Among the most important awards, moreover, will be the one dedicated to Beatrice Bracco, which will see the best young Italian actors awarded.
In addition, the most coveted awards include the Rai Cinema Award and the France Tv Award, which will allow two short films to be purchased and then broadcast by the two broadcasters.
Finally, during the Figari International Short Film Market, the festival’s related event for industry professionals, a special project called LOOKING 4 will be presented, which will give four directors the opportunity to present their short film projects to national producers.
