MIA was born under very good stars: a revitalized creativity, a renewed production capacity and the important new legal framework as the Franceschini Film and A/V Law, supporting film, series and documentaries production.
MIA’s keyword is synergy, that of an extended collective project for implementing an innovative market formula for the cinema and audiovisual industry to play globally with our foreign competitors and partners.A wide-open approach in the governance of the market – as proven by the joint venture between ANICA and APT – and the collective effort of the Institutions – who positively bet on MIA successful results in terms of international business development – are the components of MIA formula.
My utmost gratitude, therefore, goes to the Ministry of Economic Development, whose broad support makes MIA possible since the very first edition, to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Lazio Region, whose contribution gives a stronger infrastructure to this important event, and to all our partners for their participation.
MIA is now growing while this important Law is offering its first concrete tools to go international and Italy is quickly becoming an interesting place on the global landscape thanks to its talent, territory and industry, and to the efforts and projects of national and regional funds for supporting international projects.
