Fremantle has signed a new first look deal with Nine Hours, the production company owned by Edward Berger.
The agreement is for two years and makes Fremantle the new headquarter for all projects of Nine Hours, the production company founded by Berger, Luke Rivett and Jeanne Tremsal.
Edward Berger’s film, All Quiet on the Western Front, recently received nine nominations at the 95th Academy Awards to be held on Sunday 12 March 2023. The film also received14 BAFTA nominations.
The director has also directed several TV series, including Patrick Melrose, Your Honor and The Terror to name a few.
Fremantle has already signed several deals this year, including one with Mediaset España for Got Talent España and with the startup Papercup.
