Dozens of international film productions have been attracted to Australia, which offers great incentives and almost no cases of coronavirus.
Australia, thanks to the few cases of Covid-19 found, has become the destination of many Hollywood film productions, and the Australian government offers economic incentives and tax breaks for international productions that decide to travel there to shoot their film or part of it.
The Australian government has offered incentives of around 300 million as early as July 2020, adding to the more than 100 million already announced two years earlier.
“From May to September 2020,” writes Deadline, “foreign requests to be allowed to film in Australia were 215% higher than in the same period the previous year.”
