This year marks the 35th edition of IDFA, also known as, International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam.

In particular, for this edition, the festival will be held in various locations all over Amsterdam from November 9 to November 20 and will include, beside the screening of the selected titles, performances and talks, as well as markets for industry professionals.

IDFA aims at promoting documentaries that could highlight this “genre” artistry through a selection of titles innovative in their immersiveness and interactivity, in their use of visual language and structure or in their ability to show lesser-known cultures or perspectives.

This festival substantially believes in documentary films power of informing and raise awareness about delicate topics via cinematic language.
