Creed III, the third instalment of the eponymous saga starring Michael B. Jordan, debuted last week in Italian cinemas and took the gold medal at the box office.
The film grossed €2,990,756, beating The Whale, starring Brendan Fraser, which took second place with €869,919 for a total of €1,520,842. In third place was Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which lost two positions for the first week since its theatrical release, grossing €629,463 and bringing its total to €5,541,295.
Just outside the top three we find Mummies with €542,751 and €1,364,773. It was followed by Tramite amicizia, which dropped down from the podium compared to last week with €358,574 and brought revenues to €2,715,419. Sixth position for Frankenstein Junior Night, which earned €350,903 in its first week in theatres.
In seventh place we find A Man Called Otto, the comedy starring Tom Hanks which grossed €269,408 and brought revenues to €1,256,916. Two new releases followed, Mixed by Erry with €247,618 and Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba – To the Swordsmith Village with €192,622. Empire of Light closed the chart with €191,344.
