On Sunday 6 August Stories of Love that Cannot Belong to this World by Francesca Comencini will be premiered in the Piazza Grande programme of the Locarno Film Festival. The film is produced by Fandango and Rai Cinema and it is based on the director’s book by the same name. Warner Bros. Pictures will distribute the movie and the release date is planned for fall 2017.
Comencini’s film was presented during the last edition of MIA’s What’s Next Italy and it stars Luca Mascino, Thomas Trabacchi, Carlotta Natoli, Iaia Forte, Valentina Bellè and Camilla Semino Favro. The story is about how women face the end of a romance in a funny way. The movie is written by Comencini, Francesca Manieri and Laura Paolucci.
