This year, Lucky Red will have the honor to open the 71tst Cannes Film Festival with a highly anticipated film: Todos Lo Saben, directed by the Iranian Asghar Farhadi. Among the cast of the film, there will be the famous couple of Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem. The movie will show us how an occasional family visit that will be disturbed by a series of unexpected events which will turn into life-changing experiences for the main characters.
Lucky Red is also in competition with Pawel Pawlikowski’s film Cold War, which already got a statuette in the last Oscar’s awards for best foreign language film with Ida. The story is set in Poland, Yugoslavia, Berlin, and Paris during the Cold War, where the strong passions and the intense feelings will culminate with an unforgettable love story.
