During its first week-end in Italian cinemas, Aladdin, directed by Guy Ritchie and starring Will Smith, conquers the first place with € 5.639.711 (€ 6.390.818 since it came out on May 22nd). A very good opening week-end for The Traitor, Marco Bellocchio’s new movie about mafia informant Tommaso Buscetta, which is second with € 1.445.295. Third place for Almodóvar’s Pain and Glory, which gains € 711.200 (€ 2.133.458 since May 17th).
At the fourth place we find John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, starring Keanu Reeves, with € 647.413, bringing total revenue up to € 2.591.946. Fifth place for The Hustle, starring Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson, which gains € 405.548 (€ 1.445.125 since May 16th). Pokémon Detective Pikachu is found outside the podium, but it still gains € 401.067 during its third week-end in Italian cinemas.
A new entry, the horror Brightburn, is found at the seventh place with € 253.425. After almost a month in Italian cinemas, Avengers: Endgame is still in the top 10 with € 186.716, thus bringing total revenue from April 24th up to € 29.563.651. Ninth place for Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile, which gains € 90.646 (€ 1.325.567 since May 9th). Finally, the new entry Asbury Park: Riot, Redemption, Rock & Roll closes the top ten with € 56.360.
