All the nominations for the Nastri d’Argento Awards 2018 to be held on June 30 in Taormina, Italy. Paolo Sorrentino alone has received 12 nominations.
The National Union of Italian Film Journalists (SNGC) has revealed the nominations for this year’s Awards edition. The star of this edition is Paolo Sorrentino with 12 nominations for Loro: Best Picture, Best Direction, Screenplay, Best Leading Actor and Actress (respectively for Toni Servillo and Elena Sofia Ricci) and Best Supporting Actor/Actress (Riccardo Scamarcio and Kasia Smutniak). Matteo Garrone’s Dogman has obtained a total of 8 nominations, including Best Director and Best Leading Actor for the couple of Marcello Fonte and Edoardo Pesce. Manetti Bros’ musical Love and Bullets (“Ammore e malavita”) has also received several nominations.
