Paramount+, Paramount Global’s streaming service, reached 56 million subscribers globally with new users in Q4.
In fact, the streaming service gained 9.9 million users in the last period. This increase is due to the original content and sports events that the streaming service features.
The increase is also reflected in revenues, which amounted to $575m in the fourth quarter of 2023, an increase of $73m compared to revenues in the same period of 2022, which stood at $502m.
This result comes in conjunction with the upcoming merger between Paramount+ and Showtime, which will bring new linear and streaming offerings to the US market.
During the same period, Pluto TV, the AVoD service also available from 2018 in Europe and from 2020 in Italy, also recorded an increase of 6.5 million users, reaching a total of 78.5 million users globally.
