At MIA|TV 2017, seven of the most influential players from the international television scene will be the protagonists of an extraordinary all-female event. These inspiring decision makers will find themselves together for the first time, for a panel moderated by Lorenzo De Maio, Senior Agent Global Television for WME (William Morris Endeavor).
They will discuss their professional achievements, their jobs and their vision for the future of the television industry, while also exploring the obstacles women have to face in a world still dominated by men.
In times like these, of heated debate on the gender pay gap (see the controversial case triggered by the publishing of the wages of the BBC announcers, in which the best paid woman does not even come close to reaching the numbers earned by her male colleagues), the 2017 edition of the MIA Market will assemble a group of extremely influential female figures, such as: Eleonora Adreatta, Head of Drama at Rai Fiction, Rola Bauer Managing Director at Studio Canal, Kate Crowe Head of TV at Scott Free Films, Helen Gregory Managing Director at Pinewood Television, Katie O’Connel Marsh CEO of Platform Media, Katherine Pope Head of TV at Division Studio 8 and Sally Woodward Gentle CEO of Gentle Films.
