Regione Lazio has decided to increase the funds provided for the public notice “Dalla parola allo schermo”, which aims to reward the best original writing projects for cinema, television and web.
Due to the great success of the initiative, with more than 1.000 projects presented, the Region has therefore decided to increase the funds initially allocated by 100.000 euros to a total of 275.000 euros.
55 of the 1.000 projects submitted were funded, of which 23 in the “emerging” category and 32 in the “authors” category.
The screening process was carried out by a world-class commission formed by: Luciano Sovena, president of Fondazione Roma Lazio Film Commission, the director and screenwriter Mimmo Calopresti and chaired by Cristina Crisari, regional manager of the Figurative Arts, Cinema and Audiovisual Area.
