Sky, the leading entertainment company in Europe, and Warner Media, house of HBO, Turner and Warner Bros, have renewed their long-standing agreement including new content and original co-productions.
The deal includes -for the first time- all the European markets in which Sky is present, including Italy.
Sky and NOW TV users will continue to enjoy their favorite HBO titles like Big Little Lies, Watchmen, and Succession, and also the new Warner Brothers films arriving at Sky Cinema in January 2021. The strengthening of the agreement, in fact, also includes the first TV pay-per-view rights for Warner Bros films and on-demand content from Cartoon Network and Boomerang.
In addition, Sky and Warner Media have extended their partnership with a new agreement that involves the co-production of new original content between Sky Studios and HBO Max.
Born in 2010, this co-production agreement between Sky and HBO gave birth to super-successful titles such as Chernobyl (10 Emmy Awards), and Catherine The Great, performed by Helen Mirren.
