The provincial government of Bolzano gives the go-ahead to the proposals of the Idm Film Fund & Commission for the support of film productions in South Tyrol.
Of the 12 projects submitted in the third and final call for proposals in 2018, 7 have been admitted to funding: 3 are German, 2 Italian and 2 Austrian. Here are the projects financed: Zweite Luft (produced by Roxy Film with Tobias Moretti and Anna Unterberger), Die Gespaltene Zunge by Peter Brunner, Turn of the tide by Nancy Camaldo (with Valentina Bellè), Zorro by Ronny Trocker (produced by Bagarrefilm and Zischlerman Filmproduktion), Faith by Valentina Pedicini (produced by Stemal Entertainment), Schnee by Barbara Albert and Sandra Wollner (produced by Witcraft Filmproduktion), Lamento of the Seagulls by Carmen Tartarotti (produced by Filmproduktion).
In total, the budget amounts to €1,060,000, with a return of over €1,600,000 across the country. The economic return following the financing of audiovisual productions not only restores added value to the image of the territory, but also creates real job opportunities.
