Alessandro Araimo is General Manager Southern Europe Warner Bros. Discovery. Araimo, graduated with honors from Bocconi and from ESSEC University in Paris, was a partner in some of the world’s leading consulting firms – Bain & Company, Roland Berger, Value Partners – where he has always dealt with media and telecommunications. In his career he has also held top management roles in leading Italian and international publishing groups such as Condé Nast, Fininvest and the Sole 24 Ore Group. He joined Discovery in 2014, first as Chief Operating Officer Southern Europe and since March 2018 as CEO of Discovery Italia. He is Vice President of Confindustria Radio and TV, board member of Auditel and of the American Chamber of Commerce in Italy as well as of the Academy of Italian Cinema.
