On January 8, 2024, a new, completely free streaming platform will be released led by the French TF1 group, which has announced the birth of the new service that will replace MyTF1.
After joining the Salto platform and the subsequent MyTF1, this new step is a breakthrough for TF1 and will be fully supported by advertising. “We will offer 200 family films, 200 series, and TF1+ will complement the first on-demand news offering, Top Info. The news of the day will be in-depth with 3- to 6-minute formats made by our editorial staff. TF1+ is to be a generalist platform and a citizen,” Rodolphe Belmer, the group’s CEO, told Le Figaro.
TF1 will be available with its more than 15,000 hours of programs on the web, on Android TV, Samsung, LG, Hisense, Philips or Fire TV, and on the TV-Box apps of Orange, SFR and Bouygues Telecom.
