NETPITCH, the competition for feature film concepts, television series and docuseries, promoted by APA and Writers Guild Italia, officially opens its 2023 edition with important new features that concern, first of all, the selection mechanism, which is more in line with international industry standards.
Moreover, for the first time, it will be possible for producers, looking for new stories to propose to the public, to indicate the genres and formats in which they are interested, thus facilitating meetings with authors.
After registration, which is possible from Sept. 1 for producers and from Sept. 20 to Oct. 8 for authors, there will be a first selection by Nov. 7 and a second selection by Nov. 30. The pitch of the selected projects, will be held in presence between December 11 and 15, 2023.
An additional stage, introduced in this edition to make the author-producer relationship more transparent, will lead to the establishment of a real contractual agreement between the parties.
