The Feed which participated at the MIA Market 2018 has been selected in competition at Canneseries. The series will be presented in world premiere on April 6, 2019.
A success for the series, presented in the last edition of the Drama Series Pitching Forum at MIA|Mercato Internazionale Audiovisivo. The Feed, produced by all3media international and Studio Lambert, was purchased by Amazon and Liberty Global. The series is written by Channing Powell, author and producer of The Walking Dead, and is taken from the bestseller of the same name by Nick Clark Windo. The cast includes Michelle Fairley (Catelyn Stark of Game of Thrones) and British actor David Thewlis, winner of the Palme d’Or at Cannes for Best Actor for the film Nacked in 1993 and with a long career in cinema (Wonder Woman, Justice League, Avatar sequels 2 and 3) and television (Fargo, Big Mouth). The series, starring also also includes Nina Toussaint-White and Guy Burnet, is directed by Carl Tibbetts.
The series is set in the future, where people’s brains are connected to The Feed. A couple, Tom and Kate, try to resist their addiction to The Feed, especially when something – or someone – starts accessing people’s minds through it and ‘taking’ them over.
