Following the announcement that director Greta Gerwig will chair the Cannes jury, the first titles to be presented at the upcoming Berlin Film Festival are announced. Nora Fingscheidt’s The Outrun, a drama set in Scotland and starring Saoirse Ronan, who starred for Gerwig in Lady Bird, will have its world premiere in Berlin in the Panorama section.
In addition to The Outrun, 11 other films have been selected for programming in the Festival’s Panorama section, pending the full program:
