The curtain rises today, 18 October 2023, on the 18th edition of the Rome Film Fest, the festival dedicated to cinema in all its forms.
The event will run until 29 October between red carpets, masterclasses and previews. The main location of the event will once again be the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone, which will be flanked by some of the main cinemas in the capital.
The first screening of the kermesse is scheduled for today evening: C’è ancora domani, the film produced by Wildside in which Paola Cortellesi plays the dual role of director and protagonist alongside Valerio Mastandrea.
Cinecittà and Archivio Luce will also participate in the 2023 Rome Film Fest with seven documentaries and four restorations of historical films.
Highlights of the festival include the presentation of La chimera by Alice Rohrwacher and Diabolik chi sei? by the Mainetti Brothers, starring Valerio Mastandrea, Monica Bellucci and Miriam Leone.
The new edition of Alice nella Città, the young section of the Rome Film Festival dedicated this year to women’s storytelling, will be held concurrently with the festival.
