The second edition of the Audio-Visual Producers Summit, a three-day event-from July 19 to 21-full of appointments on issues of stringent topicality for the audiovisual sector with the participation of important players from all over the world, closed in Trieste.
The outcome is positive and Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Culture Lucia Borgonzoni, who strongly supported the initiative realized by Cinecittà for DGCA in association with APA, with the support of MiC, MAECI|Ice, Friuli-Venezia Giulia Region with the support of Promo Turismo FVG and FVG Film Commission, commented: “The growth of the Italian film and audiovisual system also passes from here, from constructive opportunities for confrontation such as those proposed by the second edition of the AVPSummit, which for the topics addressed and for the high professional profile of the guests involved in the discussion opened to the many operators present important insights to strengthen audiovisual production in international markets. A stronger audiovisual industry means a more competitive Italy.”
Reinforcing Borgonzoni’s words was the president of Cinecittà and APA, Chiara Sbarigia: “In these three days Trieste has been the capital of Audiovisual. And Italian production was told as central by all the top players present. A success for the image of our country, our professionals and our creativity.”
