Vatican Girl: The Disappearance of Emanuela Orlandi, the docu-series directed by Mark Lewis, has been nominated for the BAFTA Television Awards 2023 in the Factual Series category.
Vatican Girl: The Disappearance of Emanuela Orlandi chronicles the murky disappearance of the young girl whose search has dragged on for decades.
The series, produced by RAW, was released on Netflix in October 2022 and consists of reconstructions and interviews with the protagonists of the affair, including relatives and journalists who have covered the case over the years.
The British Academy Television Awards have been presented since 1955 and have established themselves as the most prestigious awards in British television. This year’s awards ceremony will be held on 14 May 2023 in London’s Royal Festival Hall, hosted by Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan.
